For someone who wants to get to Canada, you need an invitation letter from a friend or a relative. This invitation letter should contain all the information about whoever is inviting you: the date of birth, full name, the main agenda of the trip and also the address number from Canada.
Attached to the letter should be a copy of any document that verifies ones status in Canada.
The person writing the letter should also state what period the invited person will be spending in Canada, the relationship with that person who is being invited and also the specific date which this person will depart from Canada. It should also highlight the relationship between the one being invited and the person writing the letter.
A legal document should also be provided stating that the person writing the letter will cater for all the expenses associated with the person being invited to Canada. This legal form can take up to three months for it to be processed. There are two ways to go about this legal document. The letter can be legalized by a public notary, if it had already been written down. If not, the person making the commitment and writing the invitation letter can get it from any Consulates.
This letter should also include clear information about the person who is being invited. This information includes the full names, how long that person intends on staying in Canada, clear information on the living expenditures and accommodation, as well as the specific day which the invited person intends on departing from Canada. The information should be written in short clear sentences.
This invitation letter should either be written by the person who is interested in inviting a friend or relative themselves or ask the immigration and employment services to do it. Applicants should note that applying for a visa in Canada does not ultimately qualify for the visa. The information provided in that letter should be completely honest and truthful. If fund to be dishonest, the applicant is punished according to the law.
Once the letter has been written down, it should be directly sent to the person one wishes to invite in Canada. Thereafter, that person forwards the letter to the Canadian Embassy. When the letter is carefully analyzed and approved, the visitor is then issued with a temporary resident’s visa. This invitation letter is compulsory for someone who wishes to get a temporary residents visa.
The invitation should be a formal letter. It is being addressed to the Canadian embassy, which is a high-ended government office. Irrelevant information should be avoided in that letter. Many people apply for this visa but only a few people get approved to visit the Canadian state, either for a short term or long term. Therefore, only the required information should be included in the letter.
The purpose of the trip differ from applicant to applicant. Some take educational trips to Canada, others take work related trips while some just want to visit their families and friends.
